Born in Southern California, Jill and her military family moved all over the state during her formative years. “I grew up very athletic and really into fitness,” said Jill. “Lots of team sports – volleyball, track, soccer, snowboarding, and surf teams. I’ve been involved in martial arts and boxing since I was nine years old. With all that going on, it’s not surprising that I had lots of injuries to overcome!”

But it was a major snowboarding accident in her early twenties that changed Jill’s life. “I had major knee and shoulder injuries. I was really down but then decided it was up to me to get my life back,” said Jill. “I became fascinated with the healing process and, most importantly, injury prevention. I did lots of research and training than used science and sports medicine to put myself back together again.”

Jill’s experience led her to pursue a career as a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach. “It’s really gratifying to share my experience and training with WBF’s Members,” continued Jill. “Of course, I can easily relate to any injury issues but also the journey to regaining fitness after set-backs.”

Jill has been a trainer at other gyms but was attracted to the model at Whole Body Fitness. “The way WBF does things is very different, very comprehensive, and it’s something you can’t get anywhere else,” said Jill. “The three-pronged approach of exercise plus nutrition combined with personal training and the support of the WBF community is the most effective method out there. And it’s highly tailored and personalized. Members and Trainers really get to know each other and work on their goals together. It’s a model that works.”
