“It’s very educational, very motivating”

I’ve worked out at a lot of gyms but had a two-year pause with Covid.

Then, I set a goal of summiting Mt Shasta. I knew I needed some intense work with a personal trainer to get back into shape.

So I joined Whole Body Fitness. I thought I just needed leg work. I was wrong! My trainer showed me that I also needed core and whole-body strengthening to be successful in mountaineering. It’s very educational, very motivating. My trainer has me doing things I didn’t even know were important.

The trainers at Whole Body Fitness are different. I’ve worked with personal trainers at some other gyms but all they did was show me how to use the equipment and lift weights. They didn’t tailor their training taking into consideration my current condition and goals. I’m learning lots of different things, things I never would have known nor even thought of that are necessary to achieve what I want.

Whole Body Fitness is different than other gyms I’ve been to. The facility is super nice. It’s very modern and clean, there’s lots of room, and the equipment is great. And the people that come here are very supportive and friendly. I see that the people that work out on the same schedule are very tight. They go out and do things as a group even away from the gym.

It’s just a great overall experience.

“It’s not intimidating at all. Everybody who comes here comes for their own reasons. It isn’t competitive. You can proceed at your own rate and it’s just a very friendly and supportive place. We’ve discovered that Whole Body not only helps us physically it’s also a wonderful way to socialize with the great people here and that’s good for us too. We love coming here! And, for going on 80 years old, it’s a perfect place for us.”
