“The camaraderie and support here is amazing.”

Cindy & Randy’s Member Story

CINDY:

I was overweight and out of shape.

I tried lots of different exercises and gyms. I could never stick with it for more than two months anywhere, doing the same thing on my own every day. I was bored out of my mind!

Then, a friend invited me to come to Whole Body Fitness. I have to say I love it! My trainer makes every session different and it is truly a whole-body workout with cardio, posture, balance, and strength. He pushes me harder than I’d ever push myself and keeps close attention to form to make sure I’m doing the exercises correctly. And, if I’m having any health issues or physical limitations, my trainer changes the plan for the day to take that into account.

The camaraderie and support here is amazing. We chose the Semi-Private program so we could work out with two or three other people at the same time. We each have our own program but it’s fun to hang out with other folks working on their plan, too. We encourage each other. It’s one of the reasons I get up and go. If I’m not there my friends will miss me and call to see if I’m okay. I love that!

RANDY:

I like to play golf – a lot!

But I don’t like having a sore back the next day. One of the reasons I wanted to get more fit was to see if I could continue to play golf without the pain. Now, with the exercises, my balance is better, my strength is better, and my posture is better. I get to play lots of golf and not hurt so much the next day. And it’s added 15 yards to my golf game! I really recommend Whole Body Fitness.

“It’s not intimidating at all. Everybody who comes here comes for their own reasons. It isn’t competitive. You can proceed at your own rate and it’s just a very friendly and supportive place. We’ve discovered that Whole Body not only helps us physically it’s also a wonderful way to socialize with the great people here and that’s good for us too. We love coming here! And, for going on 80 years old, it’s a perfect place for us.”
