Chelsea Bills: Trainer

Chelsea was born and raised in Folsom Ca and is one of six children. She has been an athlete ever since she fell in love with basketball in the third grade. She went on to play basketball, volleyball, track, soccer and swimming through her varsity year in high school. She later led wilderness survival backpacking trips for troubled youth in Utah. After a year living out of a backpack in Utah she decided to join the United States Marine Corps. She served two years in Okinawa Japan where her personal training began with helping Marines prepare for Combat Water Survival Swimming Qualifications. After being relocated to MCAS Miramar she was responsible for training all overweight and underperforming Marines for her remaining two years. After her four years on active duty she went to school to pursue her degree in Psychology. Earning an Associates Degree from Sacramento City College in Psychology, then earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from U.C. Davis.

She has continued to train since departing the Marines. She helped prospective Warriors and Soldiers prepare for the demands of boot camp, both physically and psychologically. She has been a Swim Coach for four years, coaching both swim teams as well as doing in home private lessons. She later opened her own training studio in El Dorado Hills where she continued to personal train until moving to Chico for family reasons.

On her off time she enjoys just about anything active. She has competed in six sprint triathlons and continues to train for more.  She plays on a local volleyball league as well as swims Masters.  She is also an aunt obsessed with her 5 nieces. Chelsea is beyond excited to call herself part of the Whole Body Fitness team!
